Alqae Limited is developing a solar-powered indoor climate system with IoT environmental monitoring for off-grid households in Nigeria. We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to design and integrate hardware and firmware for the system.

Responsibilities:

Develop firmware for microcontroller-based systems. Integrate environmental sensors (e.g., temperature, humidity, air quality), implement data transmission to a cloud platform (MQTT), support hardware prototyping and testing, debug, and maintain embedded systems

Requirements:
- Experience with microcontroller programming (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, or similar)
- Experience with sensor integration, Experience with embedded C/C++
- Familiarity with IoT communication and MQTT, Hardware project experience required
