    Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications

    Purpose of the Job

    • The Head of Marketing & Communications will lead all marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects
    • Responsibilities include developing plans to help establish the ipNX brand, allocate resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term department goals. With a skill of inspiring the marketing team

    System Analyst / Developer - OSS / BSS

    Purpose of the Job

    • Primary responsibility for the development and support of the OSS/BSS platform and its integration with other systems and applications.

    Deliverables (Maximum 5 - 6 Key Responsibilities)
    Expected Key Results (Detailed KPIs):

    Key Activities:

    • Develop and build software and applications.
    • Design, develop, and implement APIs and application modules in support of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems.
    • Prepare test plan and perform system acceptance testing.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot issues as part of application support.
    • Application software configuration, enhancement and adaptation.
    • Data analysis and develop reports using T-SQL
    • Work with the Billing team, Operations team, Product development team and/or other stakeholders to gain understanding necessary for enhancements, maintenance, and problem resolution for existing applications; and maintain continuous awareness of users’ needs/expectations relevant to the technical evolutions of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems.
    • Ensure feasibility and usefulness of projects.
    • Analyze OSS/BSS enhancement requests.
    • Creates work plans, develops schedules, and develops time and cost estimates for projects
    • Creates all System Definition Model (SDM) technical documents: Functional Specs, Design docs, etc.
    • Reporting Prepares routine periodic project status reports and communicates with customers, as needed Attends staff and technical meetings for the work unit.

    Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

    • Minimum of 2.1 / Upper Credit Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.

    Work Experience:

    • Hands-on experience with Perl programming, Linux, Postgres RDBMS, and Apache web server required
    • Demonstrated experience developing database-driven web applications using PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java, a plus.
    • Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS software.
      Freeside and FreeRadius, a big advantage.
    • Experience with software development (user experience) using JavaScript including libraries such as JQuery, Angular, React, Vue etc. XML, CSS3.0 (with dynamic, responsive web design with mobile devices), and other related UI technologies (HTML5 etc).
    • Strong system integration skills.
    • Good understanding of web application development using HTTP REST, software standards, software development life cycle and methodologies.
    • Knowledge of software development process, quality control, and impact assessment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in mobile platforms, internet technologies and user interface.
    • Experience working in a multi-platform (LINUX, Mac-OS and Windows) environment..
    • Experience working with version control systems (Subversion, Git)

    Service Fulfillment Engineer

    Purpose of the Job

    • To improve on the SLAs with customers by reducing the MTTR which also translates to improved service to customers.
    • Incident management
    • Corporate customers restore service failures within stipulated MTTR- implementation and integration of new projects.
    • Incident management communication. Provide prompt input for input into the OTRS application with information relating to activities being carried out to resolve customer service incidents.
    • Identify, plan and execute nodes/segments that require preventive maintenance on the network.
    • Liase with sales department in preparing bid documents and preparing technical documentation for presentation during presales engagement.
    • Provide backend support to FSE in integrating new customers to the network providing customers link upgrades.

    • Manage pre-installation procedures (site survey) and actual installation, integration, and maintenance of microwave radio links.
    • Ensure all completed jobs are officially accepted by customers, signed off and the ticket closed.
    • Ensure no stock out of tools and materials for network implementation and for fault support.

    Educational Qualifications

    • B.Eng (Computer Engineering, B.Eng (Electrical Electronics or any IT-related Degree (2.2 or upper credit minimum).
    • Professional: CCNA (Cisco certified network associate) CCNP: (cisco certified network professional)

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree (2.2 / Upper Credit) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics or any IT-related degree.
    • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate); CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
    • At least 2 years in the telecommunications industry,
    • Ability to use network monitoring/optimization devices (hardware and software) to proffer solutions to network related problems and optimize network performance when necessary.
    • Customer-centric and stakeholders management.
    • Good LAN/WAN network design and implementation skills.
    • Design and analytical troubleshooting of LAN, WAN network and Internet-data architecture with good knowledge of IP routing protocols (MPLS, QOS, VPN, DMVPN etc).
    • Good knowledge of installation and configuration of core network devices and their relevant integration to the network (LAN, MAN & WAN)
    • Experience with the following is a must: IP Routing, MPLS, QOS, VPN, and DMVPN.
    • Knowledge and experience with network security (IPSec Firewalls) are desirable.
    • A hand on experience with OSPF and BGP is desirable.
    • Experience with Wireless Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint technologies is desirable.
    • Understanding of the base station power supply (dc and ac) architecture and the interconnectivity of relevant power devices/components.
