    Team Lead, Institutional Sales (Wealth Management)

    To be successful in this role, the candidate must combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. The core mandate will be strategic marketing, client engagement and delivering financial targets Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversight functions of a team that meets the investment objectives of wholesale clients (Corporate and Institutional clients)
    • Develop and drive the sales strategies for the team
    • Maximizing the potentials from an already existing customer base of investment savvy clients.
    • Prepare and present the Monthly Productivity Reports (MPR),
    • Measuring performance with assigned (agreed) budgets.
    • Grow the local and foreign currency AUM of the team by a minimum 45%
    • Establish new markets for the company and relationships with prospects in diaspora

    Loan Recovery Officer

    The staff will be responsible for investigating and recovering non-performing loans granted to individuals and SMEs. The role requires an understanding of credits, investigative capabilities, street smartness, doggedness, and good negotiation skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure assigned budgeted recovery targets are achieved.
    • Review all credit files and recommend strategies for recoveries of non-performing loans.
    • Undertake regular and frequent calls, site visits and follow-ups to implement remedial strategies and action plans agreed upon.
    • Initiate demand letters to all defaulting customers and ensure proper documentation of correspondences.
    • Investigate and obtain other information (not available in the flies) on the customers as may be required to aid recovery.
    • Recommend accounts for classifications and declassifications and accounts written off-off with justification.
    • Schedule and participate in negotiations meetings with customers who want loan workout options such as refinancing, rescheduling, and restructuring
    • Follow up on the sale of securities deposited for collateral alongside the legal department after other remedial strategies have been exhausted.
    • Follow up on the release of security documents for NPLs which have been fully regularized.
    • Monitor Recovery Agents to ensure accounts assigned to them are fully recovered.
    • Liaise with external solicitors to ensure that cases referred to them for legal action are handled with efficiency.
    • Attend to any other task that may be assigned

    Minimum qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • 2 - 3 years working experience in a relatable field at the most (at least 1 year in a Finance Company)
    • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in recovery
    • Dogged and street smart particularly in Lagos metropolis. 
    • Good oral and written communications skill
    • Great attention to detail and investigating skills
    • Good Relationship management skills, and demonstrate the capacity to communicate effectively with clients and team members

    Payroll Deductible - Private and Public

    The job holder will be primarily responsible for managing relationship with key external stakeholders, sales generation, loan collection and team supervision.     • Provide input to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles. 
    • Know, interact and participate in seminars and campaigns; in order to ensure understanding of customers’ needs and rightly position Orange One in the minds of these key customer groups.
    • Recruit, and provided guidance, leadership support, and strategic direction to sales advisors.
    • Ensure prompt attention to clients’ requests and maintain professional relations with all customers.
    • Ensure compliance with KYC documentation in account opening and transaction documentation in line with the defined operations policy.
    • Continuously update understanding of customers’ business and operating environment and advise Risk Management on potential risk issues. 
    • Ensure prompt loan repayments and recoverability of Non-Performing Loans
    • Maintain and update customer databases.
    • Lead automation of processes to attain improved customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Drive optimal operating mechanisms to deliver on the Business’ targets and commitments to clients. 

    Minimum qualification, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences or MBA with emphasis on Finance.
    • 5+ years experience in the Financial industry.
    • 2+ experience in generating and managing repayments of IPPC transactions
    • An in-depth understanding of current trends and developments in the industry as well as the regulatory requirement.

    Business Development SME Loan

    The staff will be responsible for generation of credits/loans for diversified clients, monitoring the credit facilities until it is fully liquidated and maintaining professional customer service. The role requires an understanding of credits and good attention to detail in order to identify and mitigate potential risk elements in each loan application

    Key Responsibilities

    • In collaboration with the Team Lead, generate loan assets to achieve the monthly disbursement target.
    • Ensure timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline deals and report same on a weekly basis.
    • Attend to walk-in clients requiring loans.
    • Review loan requests, collate and review all relevant supporting documents and prepare facility approval memos 
    • Ensure compliance with KYC documentation in account opening and transaction documentation in line with defined operations policies.
    • Monitor the SME portfolio repayment schedule and ensure reminder emails are sent at least one week before the repayment date.
    • Maintain a log of all security instruments received from customers and deposit same with Customer Service or Legal as may be applicable.
    • On a weekly basis, request for cheques to be logged and follow up on repayments, to ensure payments are remitted as at when due.
    • Confirm receipt of payments to customers and follow through on all outstanding payments.
    • Provide weekly update on delinquent loans.
    • Ensure prompt attention to clients’ requests and maintain a professional relationship with all customers.
    • Maintain and update customer files and databases with all relevant correspondence.

    Minimum qualification, Skills and Experience

    • 2 - 3 years working experience in a relatable field at the most (at least 1 year in a Finance Company)
