Summary

• The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships across all sales channels.
• The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships, and ensure the achievement of sales target and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Take full ownership of company sales targets by developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, increase market share, and support the achievement of organizational goals.
• Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective performance goals. Establish clear expectations, monitor productivity, provide regular feedback, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Branch Performance Management: Conduct regular branch visits to assess sales activities, customer engagement, operational effectiveness, and adherence to company standards.
• Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels that contribute to business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other stakeholders while continuously exploring opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
• Product Performance & Sales Optimization: Monitor product sales trends and take proactive steps to improve product performance across all locations. Identify slow-moving products and develop practical sales and promotional activities that increase product visibility, accelerate sales, and optimize inventory movement.
• Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty by ensuring exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints.
• Brand Activation & Market Presence: Actively support and participate in brand activations, promotional events, trade shows, community engagements, product launches, and customer-focused initiatives that enhance brand visibility and generate sales opportunities.
• Reporting & Business Intelligence: Analyze sales performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to support informed decision-making. Prepare and present periodic sales and business development reports, highlighting performance results, and recommendations that support continuous growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Inventory, Customer Service, and Human Resources teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and successful execution of growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Commercial Management, or a related role.
• Experience within the Cosmetics, Beauty, Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Goods industry is highly desired.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and business growth targets.
• Interested candidate should stay within close proximity to Trade Fair, Ojo as this is a full-time On-site role and not hybrid or remote.

About the Role

• We are hiring Marketing Associates to own marketing for an assigned cluster of our stores, on the ground and online. You will be the face of our brand in your territory: running promotions and activations, keeping our products beautifully presented, partnering with our content team, and bringing back the customer and market insight that shapes what we do next.
• You will spend most of your week in stores, so you must live within easy reach of your assigned cluster.

What You Will Do

• Own your territory: Visit your branches regularly, build strong relationships with branch teams, and spot opportunities and gaps before anyone asks.
• Run promotions and activations: Plan and execute in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, product sampling, and makeup demo days. Make sure banners, flyers, shelf talkers, and other campaign materials are produced, delivered, and displayed correctly and on time.
• Keep our products visible and irresistible: Monitor displays, shelf presentation, and branding standards across your stores. Flag slow movers that need repositioning or a promotional push, and make sure new launches get prime placement and attention.
• Take the brand into the community: Represent Kuddy at local events, markets, salons, and beauty schools in your territory. Build relationships with makeup artists and beauty professionals who can champion our products, and find local partnership opportunities that bring new customers through our doors.
• Co-create content and campaign ideas: Work closely with our content creators, designers, and photographers. Spot the moments worth capturing in your stores, from a new launch to a loyal customer’s story, line up products and people for shoots, and bring your own ideas for campaigns, promos, and content to the table. We expect you to contribute ideas, not just execute instructions.
• Support our digital channels: Assist with social media, email, and WhatsApp marketing, help push your territory’s promos online, and keep brand messaging consistent between our shelves and our screens.
• Bring back insight: Track what is selling and what is sitting, gather customer feedback, watch competitor pricing and promotions in your area, and share what you learn so the team plans with real information.

Who Fits

• Degree in a related field.
• 1 - 3 years in marketing, retail, field marketing, digital marketing, or brand activation.
