    Team Lead, Institutional Sales (Wealth Management)

    To be successful in this role, the candidate must combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. The core mandate will be strategic marketing, client engagement and delivering financial targets Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversight functions of a team that meets the investment objectives of wholesale clients (Corporate and Institutional clients)
    • Develop and drive the sales strategies for the team
    • Maximizing the potentials from an already existing customer base of investment savvy clients.
    • Prepare and present the Monthly Productivity Reports (MPR),
    • Measuring performance with assigned (agreed) budgets.
    • Grow the local and foreign currency AUM of the team by a minimum 45%
    • Establish new markets for the company and relationships with prospects in diaspora

    Requirements

    Required Skills

    • Sound Investment Management Knowledge
    • Candidate must have excellent relationship management skills
    • Excellent customer experience
    • Demonstrate the capacity to communicate effectively with clients and team members
    • Strong people leadership qualities
    • Candidate must possess financial and analytical skills, with knowledge of global economic matters
    • The candidate must be proficient with the use of MS office tools
    • Excellent presentation skills and willing to travel locally
    • Strong networker & relationship builder
    • Excellent business acumen
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Self-motivated and thrives well in a fast-paced work environment

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

    • First degree in any discipline from an accredited University
    • Minimum of 7 years post NYSC experience in the sales of financial services
    • Proven sales track record
    • Higher education (Master’s Degree in relevant field)
    • Professional Certification
    • Management experience (Experience leading a team)
    • Proven track record of managing Institutions
