    Payroll Deductible - Private and Public

    The job holder will be primarily responsible for managing relationship with key external stakeholders, sales generation, loan collection and team supervision. The role requires an understanding of credits, good negotiation skills, excellent relationship management skills, deep understanding risk elements in leading to civil servants and the mitigants. Ultimately, the staff will be required to ensure that his/her area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Setup of payroll deductible loan unit for lending to civil servants and private workers.
    • Provide leadership to assigned team members.
    • Generate loan assets to achieve the team’s monthly disbursement target.
    • Ensure timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline deals and report the same on a weekly basis.
    • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities. 
    • Manage relationships with key personnel of strategic businesses onboarded for lending.
    • Provide input to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles. 
    • Know, interact and participate in seminars and campaigns; in order to ensure understanding of customers’ needs and rightly position Orange One in the minds of these key customer groups.
    • Recruit, and provided guidance, leadership support, and strategic direction to sales advisors.
    • Ensure prompt attention to clients’ requests and maintain professional relations with all customers.
    • Ensure compliance with KYC documentation in account opening and transaction documentation in line with the defined operations policy.
    • Continuously update understanding of customers’ business and operating environment and advise Risk Management on potential risk issues. 
    • Ensure prompt loan repayments and recoverability of Non-Performing Loans
    • Maintain and update customer databases.
    • Lead automation of processes to attain improved customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Drive optimal operating mechanisms to deliver on the Business’ targets and commitments to clients. 

    Minimum qualification, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences or MBA with emphasis on Finance.
    • 5+ years experience in the Financial industry.
    • 2+ experience in generating and managing repayments of IPPC transactions
    • An in-depth understanding of current trends and developments in the industry as well as the regulatory requirement. 
    • Entrepreneurial, ambitious, innovative, and with a high sense of ownership.
    • Team supervision and superior people management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
    • Great attention to detail and transparent. 
    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
