    Client Acquisition Manager

    Position Summary

    • We are seeking a Client Acquisition Manager to lead our customer growth efforts across government institutions, NGOs, and large corporations.
    • This role is pivotal in identifying high-value prospects, building strategic relationships, and driving the adoption of our solar energy solutions.
    • The ideal candidate is a proactive deal-closer with deep networks and a passion for sustainability and innovation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients in the public sector, NGOs, and enterprise markets.
    • Identify high-potential opportunities for solar energy projects through market research, networking, and outreach.
    • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in government ministries, development agencies, and corporate organizations.
    • Prepare and present compelling proposals, pitch decks, and customized solutions in collaboration with the technical team.
    • Lead end-to-end sales processes, from initial contact to closing contracts and onboarding clients.
    • Maintain a robust pipeline and provide regular reporting on acquisition progress, conversion metrics, and market trends.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with project development, engineering, and marketing teams to align client needs with solutions.
    • Represent Electric City Energy at industry events, conferences, and meetings with stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Energy, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of business development and sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or technology solutions.
    • Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing high-value institutional clients.
    • Strong understanding of the solar energy delivery cycle and procurement processes in the public and non-profit sectors.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Self-driven with strong organizational and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Existing network within government agencies, donor organizations, or large corporate entities is a strong advantage.

    Technical Support Intern - NYSC

    Position Sumary

    • We are seeking a Technical Support Intern (NYSC) to join our project implementation team. 
    • This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in solar energy installation, maintenance, and operational support across real-life projects. 
    • This role also provides the opportunity to be retained with the company after the service scheme.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist technical engineers in the installatioof solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
    • Support routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics
    • Participate in site inspections, assessments, and reporting
    • Help maintain inventory of tools and technical equipment
    • Document work processes, service reports, and client feedback
    • Learn and follow industry safety standards and procedures on project sites.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field
    • Must be a current NYSC corps member in active service
    • Interest or basic knowledge in solar energy systems and components
    • Willingness to learn and work in field environments
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.

    Technical Support Engineer

    Core Responsibilities

    • Assess and resolve technical issues during both design, implementation and post-implementation phases to ensure timely and effective project delivery and maintenance.
    • Conduct site audits to gather structural, electrical, and environmental data necessary for system design and feasibility assessments.
    • Assist in designing solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance requirements.
    • Support installation teams by providing on-site technical guidance during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of solar energy projects.
    • Create detailed electrical diagrams and design layouts using CAD software to support accurate system implementation and regulatory approval.
    • Collect and analyze project site data to inform system design, identify potential challenges, and optimize system performance.
    • Prepare comprehensive work plans and technical designs, including documentation required for permitting, procurement, and installation.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
    • 2+ years’ experience in solar energy installations and maintenance.
    • Proficient knowledge of solar energy systems and thermodynamics.
    • Familiarity with CAD software and design tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

    What We Offer

    • Salary N120,000 - N200,000 Monthly
