    Hotel Accountant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, revenue, and expenses.
    • Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Reconcile bank statements and hotel accounts to ensure accuracy.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Process invoices, payments, and vendor transactions in a timely manner.
    • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and issue invoices.
    • Ensure timely payment of bills, salaries, and other hotel expenses.
    • Track daily hotel revenue and ensure all income is properly recorded.
    • Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate liquidity for hotel operations.
    • Handle guest billing, refunds, and disputes related to payments:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and hotel industry standards.
    • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, corporate tax, and service charges.
    • Maintain organized financial records for audits and inspections
    • Implement internal financial controls to prevent fraud and discrepancies.
    • Monitor hotel expenditures and suggest cost-saving measures.
    • Work with department heads to optimize financial efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND with 5 years experience.

    Hotel Chef

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

    • Candidates should possess an HND with 3–7 years as a Chef with experience in a professional kitchen
    • Proven ability to handle kitchen operations, including menu planning, cost control, and staff management.
    • Expertise in different cuisines (e.g., continental, African, Asian, Mediterranean).
    • Proficiency in baking, pastry, or grilling (if required).
    • Strong knowledge of food presentation and plating techniques.
    • Experience in inventory management and cost control.
    • Strong time management and ability to handle pressure in a busy kitchen.
    • Understanding of dietary restrictions and guest preferences.
    • Creativity and adaptability to menu changes.
    • Cleanliness, discipline, and attention to detail.

    Hotel Cook

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and cook meals according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.
    • Ensure food is presented attractively and meets quality standards.
    • Assist in menu planning, food portioning, and plating.
    • Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and mixing sauces.
    • Ensure timely preparation of meals, especially during peak hours.
    • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service.
    • Monitor food stock levels and communicate with kitchen management for replenishments.
    • Follow proper food storage and labeling procedures.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
    • Follow food safety standards, including proper food handling, temperature control, and sanitation.
    • Adhere to all hotel and local health regulations.
    • Wear appropriate kitchen attire, including gloves and head coverings.
    • Minimize food waste by following portion control guidelines.
    • Properly store and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and avoid spoilage.
    • Assist in inventory checks and stock management.
    • Assist with special events, banquets, or catering services as needed.
    • Maintain professional behavior and teamwork in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
    • Stay updated on new cooking techniques and hotel menu changes.

    Qualifications
