Private Chef at a Reputable Company

Location: Akure, Ondo State

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Live-in Chef to join our team in Akure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of high-quality Nigerian and international (intercontinental) dishes, while maintaining excellent kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities  

• Prepare daily meals, incorporating both Nigerian and international cuisines
• Ensure all meals are prepared to a high standard of taste, nutrition, and presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
• Manage inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment, including procurement and stock control
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients

Requirements  

• Proven experience as a Chef (preferably in a private home, high-end restaurant, or hotel)
• Strong expertise in both Nigerian and international cuisines
• Ability to prepare a wide variety of dishes, including continental meals, pastries, and healthy options
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen best practices
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistency in quality
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and cleanliness
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Food Hygiene Certification (Level 2 or higher) is an added advantage

Additional Requirements (Important for Live-in Role)  

• Willingness to reside on-site (accommodation provided)
• Candidates willing to relocate to Akure are encouraged to apply
