Job Purpose
The Employee Brand, Design & Corporate Communications Officer supports the development and execution of internal and external communication initiatives through visual design, content creation, branding, and employee engagement activities. The role is responsible for strengthening Matrix's employee and corporate brand, enhancing stakeholder engagement, improving brand visibility, and ensuring consistent messaging across all communication platforms and business units in alignment with organizational values and strategic objectives
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Corporate Branding & Visual Communication
- Develop and design visual communication materials aligned with Matrix brand standards and business objectives.
- Produce graphics, brochures, flyers, banners, presentations, infographics, posters, digital advertisements, and communication materials.
- Ensure consistency of branding across all internal and external communication channels.
Support the implementation and governance of corporate brand guidelines
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Create and manage internal newsletters and communication bulletins.
- Design and develop communication materials for internal announcements, employee engagement campaigns, recognition initiatives, town halls, and organizational events.
Support communication initiatives relating to culture, employee value proposition (EVP), leadership messaging, and organizational initiatives.
- Design onboarding materials, employee handbooks, event branding, and engagement campaigns.
External Communications & Digital Content
- Develop engaging content and visual assets for corporate social media platforms, websites, and external communication channels.
Create graphics and multimedia content supporting recruitment campaigns, CSR initiatives, sustainability programs, and corporate events.
Support content development for media releases, executive communication materials, and external stakeholder engagement activities.
- Coordinate website updates and digital communication activities with relevant vendors and service providers.
Social Media & Digital Engagement Support
- Support management of corporate social media accounts.
- Schedule and publish approved communication content.
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to improve engagement and visibility.
- Track communication performance and provide periodic analytics and engagement reports.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with business units and project teams to gather information, photographs, project updates, and content requirements.
- Support executive presentations and communication requests where required.
- Coordinate with vendors and external agencies on communication-related activities.
Executive Communication Support
- Support development and design of executive presentations, leadership communication materials, speeches, announcements, and strategic communication content.
- Support communication requirements for Board, management, and corporate events where required.
Corporate Events & Brand Visibility
- Support planning and branding of corporate events, employee engagement activities, recruitment campaigns, CSR initiatives, and external stakeholder events.
- Coordinate branding materials, event communication assets, and visibility requirements.
- Coordinate and support photography, videography, and content capture for organizational activities, projects, and events.
Administrative Support
- Provide operational and administrative support to Corporate Services as required.
- Maintain communication assets, templates, and content repositories.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Marketing, Media Studies, Public Relations, or any related discipline.
- 1–2 years relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Branding, Digital Media, Content Development, or Graphic Design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Working knowledge of Canva, Figma, and content management platforms.
- Strong copywriting and content editing capability
- Basic understanding of corporate communication principles and employer branding strategies
- Knowledge of digital analytics and reporting tools is an advantage
- Experience in social media management tools and website content updates.
- Strong visual storytelling and content development skills.
- Basic photography and video editing capability will be an added advantage.
