Accountant at Roki Foods Ltd

The Accountant will manage financial records, reporting, compliance, and cost control across the business. The role supports management decision-making through accurate financial data and ensures regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all business transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts.
• Track and analyze unit economics to ensure product and branch profitability.
• Manage payroll preparation and compliance with PAYE, VAT, and WHT remittances.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
• Implement and manage accounting systems/software for both branches.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (state and federal).
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Provide detailed reports and insights to management to support decision-making.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing accurate financial models and projections.
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls to reduce risks and losses.
