Job Description

• Electrical and Electronic Incharge of vessel
• Saturday routines / safety routines/alarm testing.
• Record keeping of all safety alarms and trips carried out
• Maintaining inventory of electrical stores
• Raising indents for electrical stores requirement
• Incharge of bridge navigational electrical equipments
• Incharge of laundry and galley electrical equipments
• Incharge of fire detection system
• Incharge of electrical equipments in cabins
• Preparing vessel for surveys and audits
• Assistant Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer whenever required.

Job Description

• To manage engine crew and plan day to day activities
• Operational incharge of engine room
• Plan jobs according to pms
• Plan and follow routine maintenance of machineries
• Consult chief engineer for all upcoming maintenance schedule
• Ensure safe working enviorment in e/r
• Update all spares and consumables inventory
• Prepare/plan/raise indents as per requirement
• Hygine and housekeeping supervisor of machinery space
• Participate and plan emergency breakdowns
• Record keeping.
