    Human Resources (HR) Officer / Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Job Summary

    • As part of our commitment to excellence, we are looking to expand our HR department to support our growing team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated HR/Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us attract and retain top talent.
    • We are looking for a part-time HR / Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about recruitment and human resources to join our team at First Rivers Hospital.
    • The role will focus on sourcing, attracting, and recruiting the best candidates to fill various positions within the hospital.
    • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in talent acquisition and will be responsible for managing the recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding.
    • This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to a full-time role based on performance and hospital needs.

    Key Responsibilities
    Recruitment & Sourcing:

    • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to meet the hospital’s staffing needs across various departments.
    • Post job openings on relevant job boards, website, and social media platforms.
    • Source and engage with potential candidates through online platforms (e.g., HotNigeriansjobs, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Conduct initial screening calls and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    • Collaborate with department heads and managementto understand the specific requirements for each position.

    Candidate Experience:

    • Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates, from initial contact through to onboarding.
    • Keep candidates informed throughout the interview and selection process, providing feedback as needed.

    Onboarding:

    • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the information and resources needed for a smooth transition into their roles.
    • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other documentation necessary for the hiring process.

    HR Support:

    • Provide general HR support, including maintaining employee records and assisting with HR projects as needed.
    • Support the HR team in implementing policies, procedures, and programs to enhance the employee experience.
    • Assist with employee relations matters as they arise, providing guidance and support to staff and management.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience in talent acquisition.

    Sonographer / Radiographer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer/Radiographer to join our medical imaging team.
    • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in X-ray, Ultrasound and ECG procedures, with a strong ability to provide accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
    • This position requires technical expertise in various imaging modalities and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasound and ECGs, in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
    • Ensure proper patient positioning and explain procedures to patients to minimize anxiety and ensure optimal image quality.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging results and any relevant clinical information.
    • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging results that contribute to patient care and treatment plans.
    • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and conducting routine quality control tests.
    • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including radiation safety protocols, to protect patients, staff, and self.
    • Assist in the training and mentorship of junior staff or students when needed.
    • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in imaging technology and best practices.
    • Provide excellent patient care by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a high level of customer service.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • A recognized Degree or Diploma in Radiography, Sonography, or related field.
    • Certification/licensure in Radiography (e.g., Radiologic Technologist or equivalent) and/or Sonography.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in X-ray and ECG procedures.
    • Experience with a variety of diagnostic imaging techniques, including but not limited to general radiography, ECG, and ultrasound.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Proficient in the use of imaging equipment and associated technologies.
    • Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic imaging techniques.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures to patients and ease their concerns.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
    • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines related to radiation exposure and patient care.
