Job Description: Training and Development Officer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Training and Development Officer to spearhead our internal training initiatives and ensure compliance with industry training standards. This role will be responsible for overseeing Geoplex\'s registration with key regulatory bodies such as OGTAN (Oil & Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria) and NCDMB (Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board), ensuring our Human Capacity Development (HCD) training programs meet all necessary requirements and are aligned with company objectives.

Requirement For Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in training and development, ideally within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong familiarity with regulatory bodies like NCDMB and OGTAN and experience managing compliance processes.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian content laws and Human Capacity Development (HCD) regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

Essential:

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs that support the professional development of Geoplex employees.
• Lead the coordination and execution of NCDMB compliant HCD training programs, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Geoplex\'s registration and accreditation with OGTAN, NCDMB, and other relevant industry bodies.
• Work closely with internal teams to assess training needs and create targeted learning solutions to address gaps and enhance skills.
• Ensure all training documentation and records are maintained accurately, in line with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and provide continuous feedback for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports on training activities and compliance, presenting findings to senior management and regulatory agencies.
