Teacher - Food & Nutrition at Cifman College

The school is currently searching for innovative, energetic teachers with background in Science with specialization in Food & Nutrition subject, to join our department. The teacher's responsibilities include preparing stimulating lessons, identifying and analyzing students' needs, strengths, and weaknesses, overseeing practical work, as well as setting and grading assessments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding curriculum requirements, and creating syllabi, lesson plans, and educational content that satisfy these requirements.
• Analyzing the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students and structuring lessons and assessments around them.
• Adjusting teaching methods to suit different groups of learners.
• Providing extra support to students that require it, and more challenging tasks to outstanding learners in class. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Food & Nutrition or other related discipline
• Preferably IGCSE Certified
• Relevant experience in preparing students in private schools, for external examinations (SSCE, JSCE).
• Applicable understanding of the use of 21st Century teaching techniques in or out of the classroom
