    Secretary

    Job Overview:

    • Tranquil and Quest Specialist Hospital is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Secretary to support its clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment, possess excellent communication and multitasking skills, and be committed to professionalism and confidentiality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative and clerical support to doctors, department heads, and hospital management.
    • Manage appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and daily calendars.
    • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
    • Maintain and organize physical and digital records, files, and confidential documents.
    • Prepare reports, letters, memos, and other official documents.
    • Organize internal meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
    • Ensure a smooth flow of communication between departments and external clients.
    • Maintain a clean and professional reception or front-desk area (where applicable).
    • Assist in the coordination of hospital events, training, or departmental activities.
    • Monitor inventory and requisition of office supplies for assigned units.
    • Uphold high standards of confidentiality and data protection in handling sensitive information.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Secretarial Studies, Office Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • At least 3 years’ work experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (essential).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
