Sales Merchandiser at Erisco Foods Limited

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Merchandiser to join our growing team in Benin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product visibility, availability, and promotional compliance in retail outlets, while driving sales performance and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit assigned retail outlets and ensure proper product placement and display.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish shelves, and manage product returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers.
• Implement promotional campaigns and ensure point-of-sale materials are effectively displayed.
• Collect and report market intelligence including pricing, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Meet monthly sales targets and merchandising KPIs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or retail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Familiarity with Benin’s retail market is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
