The Head of School serves as the chief executive and educational leader of the institution, responsible for providing strategic direction, academic excellence, and operational oversight in alignment with international standards.
The role requires a visionary and results-driven leader who can drive continuous school improvement, uphold high academic standards, foster a positive school culture, and ensure effective management of staff, students, and resources.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors (or the proprietor) to implement the school’s mission, ensure regulatory compliance, and position the school as a leading institution both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership and School Vision
- Develop and implement the school’s strategic plan in alignment with its mission and international benchmarks.
- Provide visionary leadership that drives academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Academic Excellence and Curriculum Oversight
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across all levels.
- Oversee curriculum implementation.
- Monitor academic performance, student outcomes, and assessment standards.
- Promote a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and global citizenship.
Staff Leadership and Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teaching and administrative staff.
- Lead performance management systems, including appraisals and professional development plans.

Student Welfare and School Culture
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including administration, facilities, and logistics.

- Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in education, including:
- At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of School, Principal, Vice Principal, or Academic Director).
- Experience in an international school setting is strongly required.

- Experience with school evaluation, inspection, and accreditation frameworks.
