Public Relations / Social Media Manager at BroadBased Communications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the organization’s public relations/social media activities
• Developing and implementing publicity/marketing strategies for the company’s products and services, including a crisis management strategy
• Developing and implementing organizational marketing/publicity strategies for products and events
• Creating and managing a PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc.
• Analysing all media coverage of the organization and drafting appropriate responses
• Create social media team content calendar
• Organizing promotional campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND
• 3+ years of working experience on similar role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior customer relationship management skills
• Proficiency in the use of word processing software tools
• Good creative writing skills
• An analytical mind and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven work experience as a Social media manager
• Hands on experience in content management
• Excellent copy-writing skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics and IT skills
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Analytical and multitasking skills.
