Experienced Business Development Officer (Healthcare and Diagnostics) at Harley and Wall Healthcare and Business Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to drive growth by building strong partnerships, converting leads, and expanding our client base across healthcare providers, corporate organizations, and key stakeholders. This role requires a confident relationship builder who can combine field execution with structured reporting and targets.

The Business Development Officer will report to the Business Development Manager and work closely with the Operations Lead to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients (clinics, hospitals, HMOs, corporates, and institutions)
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure and follow-up
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision makers and referral partners
• Prepare proposals, pitches, and partnership documents as needed
• Coordinate client onboarding and ensure service expectations are clearly communicated
• Track weekly performance, revenue, and pipeline activity, and submit reports
• Support retention by resolving client concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in healthcare business development (laboratory, diagnostics, hospital, HMO, or health tech is a strong advantage)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Proven ability to meet targets and work with structure
• Good reporting discipline, basic Excel/CRM skills
• Must be field-ready and comfortable with outreach, meetings, and follow-ups
