Job Description

• We are looking for qualified and energetic Physical & Health Education (PHE) Teachers to join our academic team.
• The teachers will help students stay active, healthy, and informed through physical education and health-related topics.

Responsibilities

• Teach physical education and health topics to students
• Plan and lead physical activities, exercises, games, and sports
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship
• Teach students about healthy living, hygiene, and personal well-being
• Organise inter-house sports, fitness tests, and health-related programs
• Monitor student progress and participation
• Maintain discipline and safety during all physical activities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education or a related field
• TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage
• At least 3years of experience teaching PHE in a school setting
• Experience planning sports events or managing school teams is an added advantage
• Being a WAEC/NECO examiner is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of sports, physical fitness, and health education
• Ability to lead students in practical activities
• Strong communication and class management skills
• Energetic, patient, and able to motivate students
• Good planning and teamwork skills.

Other Requirements:

• Must be passionate about fitness, health, and student development
• Must be available to resume at the start of the new academic term
• Must be able to work with both male and female students
• Must be ready to support the school’s values and policies.
