About the Role:

• As an Investment Associate, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and managing investments that align with our mission. You’ll lead the charge in financial modeling, deal origination, and portfolio management, supporting investment decisions that drive growth and impact. Working closely with the investment team, you will gain hands-on experience in agriculture-focused private equity and bring insights that shape our investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct deal origination, due diligence, and monitoring of ongoing investments.
• Review and analyze financial data, build financial models, and support investment transactions.
• Develop a deep understanding of our investment strategy to make informed recommendations.
• Prepare and present potential investment opportunities to the investment committee.
• Lead deal team activities as the Project Team Leader, managing timelines and ensuring team coordination.
• Oversee portfolio companies, participate in board meetings, monitor key performance indicators, and produce periodic reports.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, business development, management consulting, financial advisory, or investor relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and valuations, with experience in portfolio management, market research, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications in finance or project management are advantageous.
