    Head, Training Department

    Job Description

    • Develop and maintain the annual training calendar and schedule.
    • Oversee the design and development of training materials, presentations, and resources to support learning objectives and outcomes.
    • Continuously recruit facilitators at intervals to have a sufficient pool of facilitators for the Institute‘s qualification training 
    • Monitor and evaluate training delivery and effectiveness, making adjustments to improve outcomes.
    • Put in place strategy for the continued recruitment of learners for the Institute‘s qualifications  
    • Marketing the training products and services to institutions, corporate, and retail learners to ensure a funnel that delivers continuous demand for the Institute\'s qualifications.  
    • Track and report on training metrics and KPIs to measure the impact and ROI of training programs.
    • Supervise subordinates and lead the department to achieve corporate objectives. 
    • Build and maintain relationships with partner institutions and organisations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development.

    Required Qualification: 

    • First degree in the relevant field 
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field 
    • Relevant professional qualification in training, Arbitration & ADR will be an added advantage. 
    • 15 years of experience in corporate and retail training delivery and management in a training provider environment.  

    Required skillset. 

    • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
    • Project management skills for managing training initiatives and activities.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities to inspire and motivate your team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
    • Experience with learning management systems and other training technology.
