• The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust financial controls, optimizing financial systems, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards. The role demands a finance professional with a proven track record of managing financial operations at an executive level, ideally within the healthcare or service industry.
• This is a critical leadership role that combines strategic thinking with operational execution, contributing directly to business performance, sustainability, and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the organization’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Partner with the CEO and Board on financial planning, capital structuring, risk, and strategic investment decisions.
• Oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury functions.
• Ensure the integrity of financial systems, accounting processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive the optimization and integration of QuickBooks with key patient management systems (e.g. Dolphin and Open Dental) to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, tax compliance, and risk management initiatives.
• Build and manage a high-performing finance team with a focus on continuous learning and capability development.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives that improve financial operations, workflows and internal controls

Candidate Profile

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• ACA, ACCA, or CFA certification (mandatory)
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role
• Demonstrated experience reporting to Boards and managing executive stakeholders
• Experience in healthcare, retail, or a service-oriented organization (preferred)
• Strong familiarity with QuickBooks and ERP system integrations

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial planning, modelling, and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, regulatory compliance, and tax laws
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities
