    Chief Executive Officer

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the management of the organisation in order to maximise periodic operating results and strengthen the position of the Company.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Initiate and propose a strategic plan for the direction of the Company, define the critical success factors and ensure after approval by the Board, the achievement of the vision or target by setting and maintaining the correct focus of the organisation.
    • Translate the broad objectives to specific goals for the various functional departments resulting in an effective implementation plan for the company.
    • Ensure the preparation of the Annual Company Budget in line with developmental goals to ensure consistency in profitability and growth for the Company.
    • Design, review and implement the most optimal organisational structure for the Company in line with requirements to support the strategy, efficient company operations and business growth. To also employ systematic, structured, and creative approaches to goal accomplishment.
    • Attain financial results in conformity with the operational plan for the Company with the objective to optimize the Return on Equity (ROE) and shareholder’s value.
    • Ensure the future sources of profit for the Company by constant improvement of existing products and development of new products and or brands in line with local regulations, the technological standards of the Company and brand management policy to enable the Company to deliver customer value in line with company mission, vision and values and business strategy that will give the company products better visibility in the market place as well as achieve higher competitive advantage for the company.
    • Ensure proper brand management and an appropriate commercial approach to the local market to achieve the market value share objectives and monitors the business results.
    • Organise the production and operational activities to ensure the availability of products that meet the qualitative and functional specifications in line with the agreed strategy in order to ensure that products and services are offered at the most efficient cost price.
    • Ensure storage and distribution at the lowest cost price in line with the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the distribution channels.
    • Organise the accounting and financial function in the company in order to maximise results in line with operational and mid-long-term plans and to realize a solid capital situation and cash flow in line with best practices and corporate guidelines.
    • Ensure the preparation and implementation of a Human Resources Policy for the Company in order to ensure the right quality and manning levels of human resources are available for the use of the Company at all times.
    • Maintain optimal relationships with relevant individuals, companies, government, and private institutions to ensure continuity and profitable expansion of the Company.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A first degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a reputable Institution.
    • A minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience, 5 years cognate executive management experience.
    • Must be Indian.
    • Experience in developing, planning, and implementing successful strategies.
    • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, finance, and performance management principles.
    • Demonstrated experience building operational processes and teams.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
