We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Officer to join our team in the Human Resources and Recruitment industry.
The role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving growth through innovative HR and recruitment solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, a keen understanding of HR/recruitment services, and the ability to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HR and recruitment industry.
Build, manage, and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business
Develop and present tailored proposals, bids, and solutions to meet client needs.
Collaborate with internal HR and recruitment teams to deliver customized services.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Represent the company at networking events, industry forums, and client meetings.
Manage the end-to-end business development process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
Meet and exceed sales targets while contributing to the organization’s growth strategy.
Maintain accurate reports of business activities, pipelines, and client feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in business development, preferably within the HR, recruitment, or professional services industry.
Strong knowledge of HR and recruitment services, including outsourcing, staffing, and talent management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build lasting client partnerships.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Professional certifications in HR (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) or Business Development are an added advantage.
Established network within the HR and recruitment ecosystem.
Experience working with corporate clients across different industries.
