As our transaction volumes grow, we are strengthening our treasury and FX dealing desk. We are looking for a Treasury & FX Executive who can manage liquidity, execute trades, and help grow our FX business across African markets.
This role is hands-on and commercial. You will be expected to operate independently, execute trades, and work directly with clients and liquidity partners.
Your Mission:
Help manage liquidity across key African payment corridors while supporting TranzyPay’s growth as a leading cross-border payments platform.
You will sit at the centre of treasury operations, FX execution, and client relationships, ensuring trades settle smoothly and helping bring new FX flows onto the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
FX Trading & Liquidity Management
- Execute FX trades across African currencies including NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, and XAF
- Monitor FX markets and price transactions competitively
- Manage currency liquidity and support daily treasury operations
- Maintain accurate trade records and confirmations
Settlement & Treasury Operations
- Coordinate settlements with banks, payment partners, and liquidity providers
- Ensure transactions are executed and settled correctly
- Support daily treasury reconciliation and reporting
- Help manage multi-currency positions
Business Development
- Source new FX and cross-border payment business from:
- remittance companies
- fintech firms
- payment institutions
- African-focused corporates
- Manage and grow an existing client portfolio
- Provide FX pricing and market insights to clients
Partner Relationships
- Maintain strong working relationships with:
- FX brokers
- payment partners
- liquidity providers
- correspondent banks
- Help identify new liquidity partners to strengthen our network.
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3 years experience in treasury, FX dealing, or payments
- Experience working at a bank, fintech, FX brokerage, or financial institution
- Experience trading or managing African currencies including:
- NGN
- GHS
- KES
- ZAR
- XAF
- Familiarity with cross-border payments and FX settlement flows
Candidates without relevant treasury or FX dealing experience should not apply.
