Broker Sales Representatives at Turbham Limited

JOB DESCRIPTION.
Brokers are intemediaries between shippers of goods/services and parties who require the shippers services. 

REQUIREMENTS.

• The employee is required to be in the office minimum 8 hours per working day of the week.

• The employee is required to report to work in a timely fashion.

• Must adhere to the rules and regulations of the company.

• Creatively and actively sourcing for Customers (shippers, freight forwarders, brokers) and developing a sales pipeline.

• Maintenance and Retention of customers

• Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.

• Providing customers with shipping quotes.

• Work with Shippers, Carriers and Dispatchers to manage the schedules.

• Booking orders with carriers.

• Assisting to prepare carriers for loads.

• Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.

• Keeping accurate records of relevant activities.

• Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.

• Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.

• Manage multiple deliveries, process spot requests and develop new sales strategies to improve business

• Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally.

• Maintain a positive and productive relationship with customers.

• Identify and contact qualified carriers for freight services.

• Negotiate contract and pricing agreements with carriers.

• Contact current and potential customers for new business opportunities.

• Maintain a strong relationship with multiple carriers.

• Ensure that freight paperwork is completed and approved before transportation.

• Maintain freight files and customer receipts for reference purposes.

• Training and Supporting new employees.
