Accountant/Internal Auditor (Hospitality) at Service Arts and Hospitality Academy (SAHA Africa)

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant/Internal Auditor to support our financial operations and ensure compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, conduct internal audits, and provide insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and procedures.
• Review and ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Identify and recommend improvements to systems and procedures.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits.
• Prepare audit findings and present reports to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or internal auditing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
