Financial Controller at Arravo Global Services

We are in need for Financial Controller who will provides strategic financial guidance to management, supports budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensures the implementation of robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. The role supports bank reconciliations, project cost monitoring, internal controls, and provides audit and tax compliance support. Works closely with AR, AP, SCM, PMO, and auditors.

Job Attribute/Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Accounting or Finance.
• ICAN/ACCA qualified or at advanced stage.
• 5–8 years accounting experience.
• Strong GL accounting, reporting, and IFRS knowledge.
• Proficiency with Sage, Zoho Books, or any ERP/accounting system.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations).

Qualifications & Job Functions:

Financial Reporting & GL Control

• Maintain GL and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Handle accruals, prepayments, journals, and fixed assets.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.

Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Prepare audit schedules and support external audits.
• Ensure PAYE, WHT, VAT, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit trails.
• Bank Reconciliations & Internal Controls
• Lead bank reconciliation process; resolve reconciling items with AR/AP.
• Strengthen internal controls to ensure financial accuracy.

Project Accounting & Costing

• Review project cost postings and ensure correct WBS/cost centre allocation.
• Work with PMO/Technical teams on revenue recognition and project reporting

Systems & Process Improvement

• Support Sage and Zoho Books usage.
• Recommend improvements to finance processes and reporting templates
