    Team Lead (Learning & Development)

    Job Description

    • A Team Lead (Learning & Development) will support the team by ensuring compliance to L&D plans and HR audit requirements and meeting L&D set objectives to promote a well-trained staff.

    What Will I Be Doing?
    As a Team Lead (Learning & Development), you are responsible for supporting the employee relations team in ensuring compliance to L&D plans and HR audit requirements and meeting L&D set objectives to promote a well-trained staff. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Coordinate the implementation of planned trainings to ensure they are delivered as at when due
    • Ensure appropriate documentation, data input and processing in appropriate HR systems
    • Track, input, maintain and audit all individual employee-training records of in house programs including department orientation records for new hires on a computer system
    • Coordinate and follow up on Quality Assurance documentation.
    • Compile monthly report of training activities
    • Ensure that L&D/Training Matrix is updated constantly for all mandatory courses for QA
    • Ensure Brand Required Training Document is implemented; all updates are communicated to the appropriate target groups
    • Conducts necessary analysis to assess specific departmental and training needs
    • Schedule trainings and reschedule for defaulters and new participants
    • Any other duty that may be required from the HR leadership

    What Are We Looking For?
    A Team Lead (Learning & Development) serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years HR/L&D experience will be an added advantage
    • Demonstrated ability to use HR Systems and learning technologies
    • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office package especially word, excel and power point
    • Good communication and people skills
