    Human Resources Generalist


    Summary of the Role

    • Together with the line management, the HR Generalist is responsible for formulating clear and concrete job descriptions (JDs), based on the business goals of the organization and based on the JD policy. The officer is aware the JDs are the forerunner on the T&D programs
    • For this, the Officer has sharp insights in the organization and the different positions, and is aware of the direction of the organization
    • The HR Generalist is also responsible for all matters relating to the recruitment of candidates that will contribute to the achievement of the organization's business goals. The HR Generalist works closely together with the other HR officers, and with and reports to the Head of HR.
    • The HR Generalist carries out various HR activities, identifies suitable recruitment channels, builds a network to find (passive) candidates, as well as facilitates and discusses job offers. The HR Generalist is extremely critical on delivering high quality recruitment processes, and well formulated and clear job descriptions; and is of course critical on her own success.
    • The HR Generalist officer occupies a representative position and is for the (potential) candidates the first contact with our organization.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc in Human Resources Management
    • At least two to three years proven experience in HR management and corporate recruiting
    • By preference in the retail sector
    • Knowledge of the Nigerian legislations
    • Experience in formulating Job desriptions and setting up recruitment strategies
    • Experience in HR systems.
