    School Director (Culinary)


    The School Director is the chief executive of the institution. He oversees the overall operations of the school and has the command responsibility over the students’ population, school personnel and staff, physical facility and department head. The School Director plans and executes plans, but may sometimes delegate authority and responsibility though he needs to check on the delegated tasks from time to time, as he is still accountable for the tasks though they may have been properly delegated.

    • Develop curriculum for the school and teaching processes in the school, evaluate all course curriculums ensure compliance of lecturers to the curriculum and compliance to school policy and procedures.
    •  Come up with the most appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of the students.
    • Provide advice to lecturers, school administrators and support staff.
    •  Provide training in the use of culinary materials and techniques.
    • Work closely with school boards to apply the board's rules and regulations.
    • Formulate school policy and procedures with the School Administrator.
    • Make sure that support staff and personnel are given high quality human resource development programs and activities to enhance each individual continuous growth and development in carrying out their profession.
    • Make sure that students receive fair and just treatment from every member of the faculty staff and other school personnel.
    • Organize student groups to enhance their other potentials in various cuisines.
    • Organize parents association so the parents and guardians can also actively participate in the programs and projects of the school.
    • Organize students association so the students will be informed on job placement and new courses.
    • Manage the different operations of the school and make sure that each one meets the goals, objectives and standards set.
    • Attend meetings at the different levels as called for.
    • Make sure that school facilities and equipment are always in good condition and protected for the optimum benefit of the students, faculty and staff.
    • May carry out any other duties as assigned and report to the Managing Director.
    • Manage school funds transparently.
    • Make accurate reports regularly.


    • Five (5) or more years Culinary Experience in the hospitality industry or in similar role.
    • Graduate of a well recognized culinary school.
    • BSc in Food and Nutrition or related course.
    • Strong organization, time management and good communication skills.
    • Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied students, parents, guest, customers and/or employees.
    • Proficiency in – Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    Chef (Culinary)


    • Lecture and train the students, guest and other members of the kitchen staff on how to cook various intercontinental dishes especially Chinese.
    • Create unique dishes that inspire students.
    • Determine how much food to order and maintain an appropriate supply at the school.
    • Keeps up with trends in cooking; to ensure students and guest learn new cuisines.
    • Take direction and works with the school’s administrative team.
    • May assist in prep work, such as chopping vegetables, but more often will be involved in teaching students and guests on how to cook.
    • Chooses ingredients and designs a menu.
    • Lecture according to the school’s curriculum.
    • Employs food safety best practices and make sure that all kitchen staff members do the same.
    • Acts with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high temperature surfaces.


    • Three (3) years experience as a Chef.
    • BSc in Food and Nutrition or related course
    • Graduate of a well-recognized culinary school.
    • Training in Culinary Arts and Creative Flair.
    • Flexible Schedule and Time management.
    • Ability to Teach and Team oriented.
    • Leadership Skills, Good communication and organization skills.
    • Must be computer literate.
