French Teacher at an Internationally Accredited School

An internationally accredited school  in Ibadan is seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to deliver engaging language instruction and foster students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing French.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective French language lessons that develop students' communication skills.
• Teach French language and culture using engaging, relevant, and age-appropriate instructional strategies.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support student success.
• Design and implement assessments, monitor student progress, and provide timely feedback.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, participation, and academic excellence.
• Support struggling learners while providing enrichment opportunities for advanced students.
• Maintain effective classroom management and high behavioral expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic and extracurricular initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records, meet professional deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Teaching certification or licensure in French language instruction.
• Native or near-native proficiency in French, with strong spoken and written English skills.
• Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience.
• Strong written and spoken proficiency in both French and English.
• Demonstrated ability to teach French language and culture effectively.
• Excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement skills.
