    MERCHANT ACQUISITON

    This is a sales-focused role, centered on the acquisition of retailers (Merchants) all across Nigeria for Kaymu.com.ng – Nigeria’s #1 online marketplace.

    The specifics of the MERCHANT ACQUISITON role would be;

    • Sourcing and acquiring of retailers in Lagos / Abuja / Port Harcourt.
    • Continuous development of sales strategies for Kaymu - focused on strategic locations within Lagos / Abuja / Port Harcourt and its environs
    • Proper communication of the value propositions of buying and selling online and more so as it relates to the Nigerian e commerce ecosystem
    • Management and deployment of retailer acquisition tools, updating and maintaining analytics based acquisition reports
    • Collaboration with a wider Sales Team across other regions within Nigeria, working closely with a responsive Management team of young minds
    • Responsible for developing Merchant acquisition strategies and maintaining acquisition trackers on processes and procedures

    Profile requirements

    SNR. GRAPHICS DESIGNER

    The Sr. Graphic Designer is responsible for developing design deliverables that elevate, differentiate, and function on-brand and on-strategy. Deliverables include website creative, landing pages and banners for multiple browsers and devices. This team member interacts with all other functions and is ready to the take lead.

    Accountabilities:

    • Interact with all functions to maintain optimum communication between teams and design lead.
    • Participate in design sessions and contribute through creative concepts and creative input.
    • Be involved in conceptualization and design of graphic applications from concept to completion.
    • Oversee onsite interaction design.
    • Coordinate newsletter design
    • Oversee and manage approval process for all graphic design pieces
    • Schedule, manage and prioritize graphic design work
    • Supervise a team of graphic designers
    • Maintain and continuously improve brand guidelines
    • Design press kits and seasonal catalogues.
    • Create designs that are consistent with our brand guidelines including look, feel and tone. Be accountable for brand consistency across campaigns and assets -- web site, email and other marketing programs.
    • Build creative assets from scratch, bringing together brand photography assets, on and off figure imagery, and unique typography.
    • Assist in storyboarding concepts in which to showcase creative work.
    • Execute eCommerce design projects that include production work and image optimization.
    • Conceptualize and develop creative for A/B tests.
    • Balance and manage own workload according to established business priorities.
    • Be detailed in organization of projects. This includes management of project briefs, awareness of project specs, deadlines, etc.
    • Cooperate and interact well with other designers and seek feedback/input. Train/ assist designers as required.
    • Assist in maintaining efficiency by sharing knowledge of problems, solutions, and new opportunities. Assist in upkeep of the technical manuals and systems information.
    • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 2-3 years in graphic design, with strong focus on digital, eCommerce
    • Ability to lead by example & articulate ideas to the design team. Knowledge of web design best practices, including image optimization, responsive design, HTML and CSS.
    • High level of proficiency in Typography
    • Experience with branding and identity design
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment
    • Experience supervising junior graphic designers would be considered an asset
    • Self-motivated with good initiative
    • Open-minded and able to use constructive feedback
    • Strong portfolio

    • Drive performance of Kaymu sellers through shop consultation, strong customer service and negotiation of deals
    • Management and optimization of seller performance on the platform
    • Analysis of market trends and an ability to benchmark price points across multiple categories from both online and offline competitors
    • Clear communication and understanding of the value proposition of selling online
    • Strong focus on the importance of best-in-class Customer Service
    • Management and development of a retailer management tool
    • Regular reporting and focus on key KPIs to ensure quick results and personal development
    • Act as liaison with different sales departments and provide seller and competitor consultation as required

    2+ years sales experience preferable
    Strong communication skills and confident disposition, team player

    Regional Manager

    Your main responsibilities will be to grow and develop Kaymu in your region through operational and strategic actions. You will directly manage your operational and commercial team.

    • Define and drive action plans to create strong relationships with local stakeholders
    • Coordinate your commercial team with the other services (Marketing, Finance, etc.)
    • Deliver measurable results linked to your regional strategy
    • Ensure regular reporting of your actions and results
    • Manage the team efficiency and cohesion
