    Strategic Advisor to the MD / CEO

    Job Responsibilities

    • Serve as a key thought partner to the MD / CEO, supporting decision-making through structured insights, business analysis, and market intelligence.
    • Design and execute strategic plans and organizational initiatives in alignment with corporate goals.
    • Provide expert financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to guide investment, expansion, and product development strategies.
    • Liaise with departmental heads to monitor project execution, performance indicators, and operational risks across the company.
    • Prepare board reports, executive summaries, business cases, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to inform leadership decisions.
    • Evaluate and improve existing business processes, identifying areas for efficiency and cost-saving.
    • Support the MD/CEO in key stakeholder engagement and executive communications.
    • Champion cross-functional alignment and ensure timely implementation of strategic priorities.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or Master’s Degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to consulting, corporate strategy, or investment analysis in a financial institution.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
    • Certification in Project Management, CFA, or similar will be an added advantage.
    • Financial Expertise: Strong background in financial modeling, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and long-term strategies.
    • Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using data to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.

    Business Development Consultant

    Job Summary

    • We are in need a motivated and strategic Business Development Consultant with a strong understanding of the publishing industry to drive our business growth.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify publishing trends, market dynamics, and high-potential growth areas.
    • Analyze market data, competitor actions, and customer behavior to shape data-driven business development strategies.
    • Proactively identify and secure new businesses leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital campaigns.
    • Manage and grow a pipeline of potential clients, publishing partners, and key collaborators.
    • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
    • Understand client challenges and goals within the publishing space and deliver customized service and product solutions.
    • Create and deliver persuasive sales pitches, proposals, and PowerPoint presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
    • Promote the company’s services at industry events, book fairs, conferences, and networking forums to boost visibility and outreach.
    • Ensure all business development operations comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and company standards.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Development Consultant or in a similar business development role.
    • Proficiency in email marketing tools and strategies to engage and convert leads.
    • Solid skills in PowerPoint for creating impactful sales and presentation decks.
    • Demonstrated ability to follow up effectively with leads and convert them into business opportunities.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines under pressure.
    • Working knowledge of CRM software and other business development tools is a strong advantage.
