Job Description

• Set digital marketing brand strategies using all necessary tools (website, emails, social media)
• Define and mange the brand communication strategy using a variety of media
• Create social media strategy/ content
• Manage social media accounts
• Identify target audience and schedule content posing
• Build and maintain successful relationships with the media and other outlets

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• Experience managing social media platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
• Applicant must be well versed in graphic design
• Must be a self-starter willing to travel (often) and sometimes work from the rural areas of our farm locations

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the entire farm/agribusiness
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Job Requirements

• 5-10 years proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role (Agribusiness preferable)
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
