    Health, Safety, and Environment Intern

    Job Summary

    • The HSE Intern position is an entry-level role designed to give practical exposure to health, safety, and environmental management in telecommunication operations.
    • The interns will support the HSE team in implementing company safety standards, carrying out inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, and assisting with incident investigations, toolbox talks, and other safety programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
    • Monitor and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers.
    • Support in conducting toolbox talks and safety inductions for site personnel.
    • Assist with incident reporting, investigation, and documentation.
    • Maintain HSE records, registers,and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
    • Support environmental management activities such as waste segregation and spill prevention.
    • Help promote a positive safety culture across all project sites.

    Qualification and Experience

    • OND, HND, B.Sc in related discipline
    • No extensive prior experience required; willingness to learn and adapt is key.
    • 0–1 year relevant experience (industrial training or internship experience will be an added advantage).

    Accountant

    Job Description

    • The accountant plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
    • This position is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting.
    • The role includes supervising junior accounting staff, managing tax-related matters (both direct and indirect), and maintaining quality control over tax accounts and financial statements.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual direct and indirect tax returns.
    • Prepare tax reports and forecasts for management, including annual and quarterly projections.
    • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns in compliance with local and international regulations.
    • Prepare and analyze corporate tax liabilities and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.
    • Maintain and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and notes.
    • Identify and escalate critical financial or tax-related issues to the Finance Director.
    • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to address queries and ensure compliance.
    • Present financial and tax reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
    • Support general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
    • Communicate effectively across departments and present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
    • Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring internal controls are in place and effective.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
    • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA (Australia/US), ICAN, MIA, MACPA, or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, tax, or audit.
    • Strong knowledge of local and international taxation, including VAT/GST and corporate tax.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

    Project Liaison Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a motivated and dynamic young professional with a background in Engineering or Natural Sciences to serve as a Project Liaison Officer within our telecommunications operations.
    • This role involves direct interface with clients, coordination of project deliverables, escalation of issues, and overall support of project execution and logistics.
    • The ideal candidate will be physically present at the customer office, representing our team professionally and ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the on-site representative for the project team at the customer's office.
    • Attend and actively participate in customer meetings, taking notes and tracking actionable points.
    • Act as the communication bridge between the customer and internal teams for project delivery updates.
    • Escalate challenges relating to deliverables, tools, materials, and manpower to the project manager in a timely manner.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Degree or HND in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related fields.

    • Ability to present technical updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Willingness to be physically present at the customer site during business hours.
    • Basic understanding of telecommunications infrastructure is an advantage.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    Additional Requirements:

    • This is a field-facing, entry-level role suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
    • The role may require occasional travel within the state for project-related activities.
    • Candidates must demonstrate a high level of accountability and maturity.
