    Sales, Marketing & Business Development Executive

    Description

    • DBH Solutions is looking to hire a highly talented and experienced Sales Individual who not only has a complete command over B2B selling and also great at taking care of their clients.
    • Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the successful candidate would be responsible in generating new business, account management of high-profile accounts and generation of revenues.
    • The job requires approaching companies, contractors and consultants to market our products. Walk-ins and meetings with appointments are required. Generating inquiries, sending out quotations and following up with clients. Ensuring orders are executed on time and payments are received on time from clients.

    Requirement Summary

    • By using a consultative, intelligent and product knowledge approach to selling, the preferred candidate would apply expertise to identifying new business opportunities, increasing sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.
    • The ideal candidate would accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; improving profitability, implementing sales.

    General Responsibilities

    • Establish a thorough understanding of the industry and its dynamics in order to develop an annual sales and marketing strategy for the business, to compliment the overall business strategy, to deliver on agreed KPI’s
    • Identify new business opportunities through market research and monitoring new trends and services in the industry
    • Generate new leads and build brand awareness, through attending conferences, exhibitions and additional networking opportunities
    • Design presentations that are bespoke to each potential client’s requirements
    • Prepare and present formal quotations to clients
    • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions, according to customer needs and objectives
    • Take an Account Management approach, to continue to develop professional relationships with existing clients
    • Develop and update sales and marketing materials for the company
    • Clearly and regularly communicate the progress of all sales targets and KPI’s, to internal stakeholders
    • Prepare internal weekly sales reports and present to the Executives
    • Attend management meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and budgets
    • Produce competitor analysis, including price benchmarking of competition and identifying their key strengths
    • Identify and execute all marketing opportunities
    • Carry out research into industry and related events, publications, and announcements; including key competitors
    • Identify potential new revenue streams for the business
    • Take Line Management responsibility as the Client Relationship Manager
    • Meet and exceed sales targets
    • Generate new sales from a portfolio of accounts to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
    • Identify new potential customers within the allocated geographical area and implement business development activities
    • Analyze sales statistics
    • Collaborate with Analysts for proposals and tender submittals
    • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
    • Monitor client feedback and satisfaction with the company, products and offerings
    • Maintain awareness of the market (clients, competitors, suppliers) and use any relevant information to increase conversion rate
    • Routinely meet with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any potential issues appropriately
    • Liaise with international principals to improve pricing or marketing plans
    • Adhere to the Quality Management System procedures and its performance
    • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Executive Vice President

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in leading a Sales & Distribution function for a brand or range of products, with a minimum of 2 years in an active business development role with proven experience in winning new business and working to targets
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing Management or equivalent (2”1 minimum) from a reputable university
    • Additional qualification of an MBA or M.Sc. in a relevant field is of added advantage
    • Knowledge and understanding of RFPs and tender preparation
    • Experience in preparing commercial costing and/or modelling
    • Current experience in established B2B sales and leading a sales function across product offering

    • Advanced IT skills and proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word and proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Experience in selling bandwidth capacity, Internet services products or telecommunications products
    • Positive ‘can do’ attitude and result-oriented

    IT Operations Manager

    Job Description

    • DBH Advisory is seeking an IT Operations Manager. Your core responsibility will be to maintain IT operational transparency to drive automation and technology adoption both within the DBH group of companies as well as our external clients.

    General Responsibilities

    • Work within the DBH group to ensure appropriate recommendations and strategies are employed to meet our clients’ business objectives.
    • Ensure successful system & services deployments including various digital enablement technologies,
    • Maintain ownership of client accounts through the establishment of an operation service desk and provision of Level 1-3 client support
    • Manage internal and external teams of technicians, system engineers and other IT staff
    • Provide remote and occasional onsite technical support to various DBH Advisory customers in Lagos and throughout Nigeria
    • Act as a technology resource and escalation point for DBH group projects.
    • Contribute to the company’s internal infrastructure environment and establish best practices and procedures for the care of our growing client base
    • Engage with supervisors and senior management regularly with reports on projects status, activities and achievements.

    Service Desk Management Responsibilities:

    • Management of all incoming and outgoing service desk communications
    • Serve as the service desk dispatcher including coordination of technician schedules
    • Prioritize and dispatch support tickets to ensure timely resolution of internal and external issues.
    • Maintain awareness of all client issues and ensure proper ticket resolution
    • Communicate with third-party support and equipment vendors.
    • Learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
    • Understand, define and champion service desk objectives to drive quality and efficiency
    • Maintain business awareness to drive growth and client relationships
    • Document and maintain service desk processes
    • Define metrics and key performance indicators to service desk improvement
    • Provide customer-service leadership while aligning customer goals with service team objectives
    • Manage remote monitoring and management systems to ensure accuracy and consistency

    Additional Responsibilities & Expectations:

    • Effectively manage and maintain relationships with all technical staff, subcontractors, vendor partners and client representatives for managed services accounts and projects
    • Supervise projects and interface with administrative staff for billing and collections in collaboration with other business functions
    • Assist the team to achieve group profitability goals and all technical proactive and reactive maintenance activities for recurring revenue accounts, time and materials based or project-based accounts and firm-wide hardware/software/procurement activities
    • Evaluate the operation of the business and identify operating problem areas with recommended solutions for Executives
    • Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties

    Qualifications

    • Minimum qualification of 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or BEng Computer Engineering degree
    • Professional certification: Microsoft Certifications; Cisco Certifications as relevant
    • Other IT certifications; PMP; ITIL.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • 7+ years post-NYSC system administration experience
    • Deep knowledge of business productivity and collaboration solutions and services with a focus on Microsoft 365 for Business products
    • Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows- and OSX- based applications, desktop and server operating systems, and Server Roles
    • Knowledge of and experience with voice and network infrastructure
    • Familiarity with database administration
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
    • Quick learner with the ability to work effectively under pressure
