    GM, HR & General Services

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • The Head of General Services will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Human Resources, Procurement, and Administrative functions of the organization. The role ensures compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory requirements, promotes efficient procurement practices, and drives effective administration to support overall business performance and growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Human Resources Management

    • Develop and implement HR policies in line with Nigerian labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, payroll administration, pensions (NSITF, PENCOM), and employee record management.
    • Implement performance management, staff training, and career development programs.

    Procurement & Vendor Management

    • Lead procurement planning, supplier onboarding, and vendor contract management.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
    •  Supervise tender processes, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations to ensure transparency and value for money.

    Administration & Corporate Services

    • Oversee facilities management, including office infrastructure, fleet/transport services, and logistics.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
    • Manage company assets, including property leases, office equipment, and fixed asset registers.

    Strategic & Leadership Role

    • Provide strategic guidance to management on HR, procurement, and administrative matters.
    • Lead and develop departmental teams to foster a high-performance culture.
    • Monitor and control budgets, optimize costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Champion IT-enabled HR and procurement systems for improved efficiency and data security.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, industrial relations, and compliance requirements.
    • Proven experience managing HR, procurement, and administration in a corporate environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure accountability.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Procurement systems commonly used in Nigeria.

    Trader

    Job Summary

    • The Trader will develop, manage, and expand trading activities across crude oil, refined products, and natural gas. The role focuses on identifying profitable opportunities, executing trades, managing risk, and building strong market relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

     Strategic Planning & Business Development

    • Develop trading strategies and business plans.
    • Drive market initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct market analysis on supply-demand trends and pricing.
    • Monitor geopolitical and industry developments to manage risks and opportunities.

    Trading & Deal Execution

    • Execute trades with IOCs, NOCs, refiners, and global counterparties.
    • Negotiate and close spot and term contracts.
    • Implement hedging strategies and ensure adherence to risk policies.

    Operations & Risk Management

    • Coordinate with finance, legal, and operations for seamless execution.
    • Track trade performance, delivery, and contract compliance.
    • Support risk control frameworks and internal processes.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Coordinate export activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Engage with regulators, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Represent the company in key commercial engagements.

    Requirements:

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
    • Master’s degree or relevant certifications is an advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum 8 years in energy or commodities trading.
    • Proven experience in deal execution and market performance.
    • Strong knowledge of oil & gas trading and regulatory frameworks.

    Skills

    • Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
    • Deep understanding of global energy markets.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management.
    • Ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions.
