    GM EV Sales & Charging Infrastructure

    Job Summary:

    • The General Manager, EV Sales & Charging Infrastructure, will lead the strategic development, implementation, and growth of the company’s Electric Vehicle (EV) business and charging network operations. This role is responsible for driving EV sales performance, expanding charging infrastructure across key locations, managing partnerships, and ensuring the company remains a market leader in Nigeria’s evolving e-mobility ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy and Business Development

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive EV sale and charging infrastructure strategy aligned with the company’s long-term vision for sustainable mobility.
    • Identify business opportunities, partnerships, and government collaborations to expand EV adoption and charging networks.
    • Drive initiatives that strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the EV market.

    Sales and Market Growth

    • Lead nationwide EV sales operations, achieving revenue and market share targets.
    • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and dealer network support for EV products.
    • Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.

    Charging Infrastructure Management

    • Plan, design, and oversee the rollout of EV charging stations in strategic urban and intercity locations.
    • Collaborate with technical, engineering, and facility teams to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability of charging infrastructure.
    • Establish partnerships with public and private stakeholders for shared charging access and expansion.

    Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement

    • Engage with government agencies, regulators, and power distribution companies to align with national EV policies and incentives.
    • Build relationships with real estate developers, fleet operators, and logistics companies for network expansion.
    • Represent the company in industry forums and sustainability events.

    Team Leadership and Performance Management

    • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team across EV sales, infrastructure operations, and customer support.
    • Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure continuous capability development.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the EV division.

    Financial and Operational Oversight

    • Develop and manage annual budgets for EV sales and charging operations.
    • Track financial performance and ensure profitability of EV business lines.
    • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the automobile, energy, or mobility sector, with at least 5 years in senior management.
    • Proven track record in EV sales, infrastructure development, or sustainable mobility projects.
    • Strong understanding of EV technologies, power systems, and mobility solutions.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

    General Manager, Management

    Job Summary:

    • The General Manager, Management, is responsible for providing overall leadership, direction, and strategic oversight of the Human Resources, Administration & Facility, and Legal departments.
    • The role ensures the seamless integration of people, systems, and policies that promote organizational efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.
    • The GM serves as a key business partner to the executive leadership team, driving initiatives that strengthen company culture, operational excellence, and legal integrity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership & Governance

    • Develop and implement integrated management strategies that align HR, Admin, Facility, and Legal functions with corporate objectives.
    • Advise top management on business policies, people strategy, and compliance-related risks.
    • Champion the development of a high-performance culture that emphasises productivity, accountability, and employee engagement.
    • Ensure sound governance and adherence to all company policies, statutory regulations, and legal frameworks.
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide insights on organizational structure, manpower, and administrative efficiency.

    Human Resources Management

    • Supervise facility management, including maintenance, security, utilities, and space planning.
    • Manage company assets and logistics—vehicles, equipment, and office supplies—ensuring accountability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Establish and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all facilities.
    • Coordinate procurement and vendor management processes, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to company policies.
    • Implement digital and operational systems to enhance efficiency, control costs, and support scalability.

    Legal & Compliance Management

    • Provide leadership to the Legal Department to ensure all company operations and contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and memoranda of understanding (MoUs).
    • Advise management on corporate governance issues, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Manage all company litigation and liaise with external counsel to safeguard the company’s interests.
    • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, licenses, and permits.
    • Support the development and enforcement of internal policies to ensure legal and ethical conduct at all levels of the organization.

    Leadership, People & Performance Management

    • Provide direct leadership to departmental heads, ensuring collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of departmental performance and implement corrective measures where necessary.
    • Mentor and develop departmental managers to enhance leadership capability and organizational succession.
    • Foster open communication, teamwork, and transparency across departments.
    • Prepare and manage annual budgets for HR, Admin, Facility, and Legal functions, ensuring cost optimization and fiscal discipline.

    • Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or LLB/BL are highly desirable.
