The General Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company’s agribusiness operations, including farm management, feed production, and processing.
The role requires a results-oriented professional with strong agribusiness expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the farm, feed production, and processing units.
Provide strategic direction to all departments and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Supervise department heads and ensure smooth coordination across functional areas.
Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and quality control requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in commercial agriculture, including 3+ years in a senior management role.
Proven experience managing large-scale farm or agro-allied operations.
Strong understanding of agribusiness value chains, farm management, and supply chain systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
