    Business Development Executive / Sales Engineer

    Responsibilities
    Business Development Planning and Strategy Development: 

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the upstream oil and gas sector via bids/tenders and direct engagement.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
    • Support the development and execution of client acquisition strategies
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to stakeholders

    Market Intelligence & Strategy:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
    • Provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with operational capabilities

    Sales Support & Pipeline Management: 

    • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and track progress through CRM tools
    • Assist in negotiating commercial terms and closing deals
    • Monitor performance metrics and report on business development activities

    Brand Representation & Networking: 

    • Represent Zeconia GIL at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
    • Promote the company’s value proposition and service offerings
    • Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives

    Qualification / Experience

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline (Preferable), business, finance or other related disciplines
    • An MBA or relevant master’s degree in any business or other related discipline will be an advantage
    • Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience (8 of which must be in the relevant sector).

    Contract & Procurement Engineer

    Responsibilties
    Contract management & administration:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for goods and services in line with company standards and project requirements
    • Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies
    • Maintain a contract repository and monitor contract performance, renewals, and expirations
    • Support dispute resolution and claims management processes.

    Procurement strategy & execution:

    • Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets
    • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and contractors with a focus on quality, cost, and reliability
    • Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and terms
    • Manage procurement documentation including RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and purchase orders
    • Apply knowledge of INCOTERMS to international procurement and logistics decisions, ensuring clarity in delivery terms and risk allocation.

    Cost control & value optimization:

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
    • Monitor procurement spend and report variances against budget
    • Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payment and reconciliation of procurement transactions.

    Compliance & risk management:

    • Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal controls and audit requirements
    • Conduct supplier risk assessments and maintain compliance with HSE and ESG standards
    • Support internal and external audits related to procurement .

    Qualification / Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
    • A Master’s degree or certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is an added advantage.
    • 5 - 8 years post-graduation experience, with at least 3 years in contract and procurement roles within the upstream oil and gas industry.
