Store Officer at Woodridge and Scott Consulting

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Store Officer to join our team. This on-site role, based in the Ajah Axis of Lagos, involves overseeing and managing the storage of goods and materials within our organization. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating stock movement, managing purchase orders, and ensuring optimal stock levels. The Store Officer will also ensure adherence to storage protocols and processes to maintain efficiency and organization in the store.

Job Specifications

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory items (IT hardware, cables, spares, tools, diesel consumables, etc.)
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering to avoid stock-outs
• Conduct periodic stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Issue materials based on approved requisitions
• Maintain proper documentation (GRNs, SRVs, bin cards, inventory logs)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in an social science.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Integrity and accountability
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to lift and handle equipment where necessary
• Willingness to work shifts is crucial
