    Location: Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State


    We are a growing commercial farm located in Ikere-Ekiti with operations in livestock production and cultivation of cassava and maize. The farm is expanding into plantain plantations, oil palm cultivation, and other cash crops. We are seeking a dedicated and career-oriented Agricultural professional to lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the farm.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate all crop and livestock production activities.
    • Manage existing cassava, maize, and livestock operations.
    • Lead the establishment and maintenance of plantain and oil palm plantations and other cash crops.
    • Plan planting, harvesting, feeding, and routine farm maintenance activities.
    • Supervise farm workers and ensure efficient use of labour and resources.
    • Maintain records of farm operations, production, expenses, and inventory.
    • Implement modern agricultural practices and improve farm productivity.
    • Monitor animal health and crop performance and liaise with relevant experts when necessary.
    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of farm equipment and facilities.
    • Prepare periodic reports and recommend improvements for farm expansion and profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

    Requirements

    • ND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Crop Science, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related Agricultural disciplines.
    • Must reside in Ikere-Ekiti or be willing to relocate to Ikere-Ekiti.
    • Young, energetic, and physically fit.
    • Passionate about farming and willing to build a long-term career in agriculture.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in crop and/or livestock farming is an added advantage.
    • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and supervise farm personnel effectively.
    • Knowledge of modern agricultural practices and record keeping.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping tools is an advantage.
