    • The Brand and Communications Coordinator leads GAIA AFRICA’s communications strategy, overseeing branding, media relations, digital content, event promotion, and social media.
    • This role requires a dynamic communicator with strong strategic thinking, execution ability, and an understanding of premium women-focused networks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute annual communications and social media strategies aligned with GAIA AFRICA’s brand vision.
    • Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring consistency and high engagement.

    Educational Requirements & Experience

    • Fluency in English (oral and written).

    Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer

    Job Summary

    • Digital Marketing & social media Officer is responsible for maintaining Gaby Lagos’s brand online presence and sales by working on various marketing campaigns in line with the strategy.
    • Duties include conducting wide research, strategizing with the team, creating content for successful campaigns, managing Gaby Lagos's social media accounts, contributing to the development of social media strategies and policies, taking the lead in its implementation; developing and implementing social media guidelines, systems, procedures and tools; and provides expert reporting, analytics, and advice to increase visibility, awareness, understanding, and support for Gaby Lagos’s vision, corporate objectives, events, other activities, and programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and execute social media strategy through comprehensive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification and data gathering.
    • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that build meaningful connections and engagement that encourages and results in the audience taking action.
    • Set up and/or optimize Gaby Lagos’s social media pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.

    Education, Skills & Experience

    • BA (Hons) or BSc (Hons) in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations or related fields
    • 3 - 5 years proven work experience in social media management and as a Digital Marketer
    • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
    • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
    • Adequate knowledge of web analytics, Google analytics web, CRO, PPC and SEO.
    • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channel
    • Positive attitude, detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability

    Housekeeping Staff

    Purpose of Role

    • The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire facility.
    • This role includes managing daily operations, coordinating staff schedules, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
    • The post-holder will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest experiences.

    Job Summary

    • Oversees the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly and attractive function rooms, offices and Clubhouse environment.
    • The post-holder is responsible for assigning duties, inspecting work and investigating complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment to ensure corrective and appropriate actions are taken.
    • The ability to demonstrate effective and co-operative teamwork with all colleagues at all levels.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assigns janitorial staff their duties and inspects work to be certain they conform to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
    • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective actions.
    • Coordinates work activities in the department.
    • Coordinates all laundry-related activities.
    • Inspects dry-cleaning and press work to ensure optimum quality of work; prompt pick-up/on-time delivery of laundered items.
    • Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate the use and maintenance of equipment.
    • Maintains stock inventories to ensure adequate supplies.
    • Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operations
    • Examines the building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to the line manager for further action.
    • Issues supplies and cleaning equipment to the janitorial staff.
    • Guides and directs the whole team to ensure consistency of brand and a high level of performance and service delivery.

    Electrician / Handyman

    Job Description

    • To fix all electrical issues.
    • Opening the clubhouse doors and the locking of the clubhouse doors after close of the business each day.
    • Any maintenance activity or issues should be reported immediately to the Ops supervisor.
    • Constant diesel and generator reports.
    • Replacement of bulbs
    • Attend to basic plumbing issues.
    • Wash the ac vents.
    • Participate actively in any event setup.
    • Monitor the generator and report any issues pertaining the generator.
    • Monitor the sewage treatment plant and report issues.
    • Must get acquainted with the water treatment plant basic backwashing and to carry out backwashing if need be.
    • To oversee vendors and artisans working in the clubhouse and report back to the Ops supervisor.
    • Ensure that the electric panels, sockets, and switches are kept clean.
    • To switch on or off the clubhouse lightings and air conditioners at the appropriate time.
    • To load water on the Mgt office water dispenser.

    Job Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an OND qualifications with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience
    • Must Have Trade Test 1, 2 and 3.
