    Travel Sales Secretary

    Responsibilities
    Sales & Client Acquisition:

    • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities, generating leads and building a strong client base.
    • Present and sell various travel products and services, including flights, accommodations, tour packages, cruises, travel insurance, and car rentals, to individual and group clients.
    • Negotiate rates and packages with clients to close sales effectively.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after their travel.
    • Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Follow up with clients on bookings, payments, and travel details.

    Promotional Activities:

    • Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials, brochures, and sales presentations.
    • Participate in marketing campaigns and events to promote travel services.
    • Manage Social Media pages.

    Administrative Support:

    • Manage and organize appointments, meetings, and schedules for the sales team and management.
    • Prepare, type, and proofread travel proposals, contracts, invoices, reports, and other sales-related documents.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing communications (phone calls, emails) for the travel department, directing inquiries as appropriate.

    Travel Logistics & Operations:

    • Make and confirm reservations for flights, hotels, ground transportation, and other travel services.
    • Issue travel documents, including tickets, vouchers, itineraries, and travel insurance policies.
    • Process payments, manage billing, and reconcile accounts related to travel bookings.
    • Assist clients with visa applications, passport requirements, and other necessary travel documentation.

    Requirements

    • Experience as a Travel Agent, Travel Sales Executive, administrative or similar role.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills
    • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Adaptability and flexibility to handle

    Qualifications

    • OND/HND/BSc Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred with 1-3 years work experience.
