Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Agent to manage client bookings, provide expert travel advice, and deliver exceptional service experiences.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for travel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to create tailored travel solutions that meet diverse client needs.
Scope of Work
Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
Recommend suitable destinations, tour packages, flights, hotels, and other travel services.
Prepare detailed itineraries and travel documentation in line with client requirements.
Manage end-to-end booking processes, including reservations, ticketing, and confirmations.
Provide accurate information on visa requirements, travel insurance, and destination guidelines.
Handle changes, cancellations, or adjustments to bookings efficiently.
Maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure the best deals.
Keep clients informed about promotions, discounts, and seasonal travel offers.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions and client interactions using the CRM system.
Stay updated on global travel trends, industry regulations, and destination information.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, HND, or OND in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
3–4 years of relevant experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role within the travel and tourism industry.
Proficiency in booking and reservation software such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of CRM and itinerary-building tools (e.g., Trip Creator, Tourwriter) is an advantage.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in bookings and documentation.
Ability to handle multiple client requests in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for travel and strong knowledge of destinations, airlines, and hotels.
