To support the Montessori philosophy and enhance the learning experience by working closely with students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). This role ensures the smooth and effective delivery of educational programs by addressing students’ communication and speech development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to support learning and development.
Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
Conduct parent consultations and provide guidance on at-home support strategies.
Participate in school meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Psychology, or a related field.
Professional License: Valid license/registration to practice as a Speech Therapist.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of sensory integration and child development
Experience working with children with special needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
