Sales & Marketing Officer -FMCG at Ascentech Services Limited

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales.
• Establish and maintain relationships with wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
• Conduct field visits and market surveys to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Achieve sales targets by executing sales plans and managing client portfolios.
• Monitor competitors' activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Marketing & Brand Promotion:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions and digital marketing initiatives.
• Plan and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and product activations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and social media content.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer behavior patterns.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to improve brand perception.
• Develop loyalty programs and promotional offers to retain customers.

Market Research & Reporting:

• Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management.
• Provide insights on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences.
• Suggest improvements in product offerings and marketing strategies based on customer feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales and marketing in the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of consumer behavior, distribution channels, and trade marketing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
